Livin' The Life...A Streetsweeper Edit

C.R. recently uploaded his latest edit on board his deity Streetsweeper and it is a worthy view! Enjoy...

Product Profile: The deity Pyston Seatpost

Unless you have been out of the loop...our praised deity Pivotal Collection of saddles and seatposts launched a month ago and since that day, have been turning heads.

Part of the deity Pivotal Collection, the Pyston Seatpost is not the common two piece cheap post that actually breaks (whe breaks posts anyways?). Forged from 6061 T6 aluminum and available in a compact 150mm length, the Pyston comes in a 27.2mm size for your MTB.

Need a larger diameter size? Do not fret as we also offer shim kits for the most popular size seattubes on the market.

Does our seatpost look better than the competition? Just look at it. We did not just laser a logo on the side and throw it in a bag. The Pyston is a work of beauty and is stunning in person.

Wonder how to check it on in person? Buy one, request them at your local bike shops, and at $33...you cannot beat it.  Available in bead blast black with two tone gray artwork, bead blast red with two tone red artwork, bead blast green with two tone green artwork, and bead blast purple with two tone purple artwork...add some style to your bike now!

Specs include:
Forged 6061 T6 Aluminum | Compatible with all Pivotal and Slider Systems | Fully Slammable | Lighter Than a Railed Seat and Post Combination | One Piece Design (*Not an inferior two piece model with press on head) | 27.2mm Diameter for MTB frames | Shims available for 30.0mm, 31.6mm, and 34.9mm Seattubes | 150mm Length | Bead Blast Anodized Finish with Two Tone Artwork | Available in Black with Two Tone Gray Artwork, Green with Two Tone Green Artwork, Red with Two Tone Red Artwork, and Purple with Two Tone Purple Artwork | Weight: 112 grams

Dustin Gilding's deity Cryptkeeper....

Dustin recently built up his new Cryptkeeper and after being injured for most of this summer...he did not hesitate to hit trails as soon as he could. Here is the blog update Dustin posted on Pinkbike.......

Hey guys, Dustin Gilding here, just wanted to throw out a little feature on my new Deity Cryptkeeper hardtail that Eric and Sadie kindly sent out a couple months ago.

Due to a collarbone break suffered back at the Claymore Challenge in June, which you can see below, I actually never got the chance to even ride the bike till yesterday, so I was both eager and nervous to hop aboard the Cryptkeeper and see how far i could push myself on the rebound from injury with a full day of riding ahead.

http://www.dh-productions.com/Dustin-1stRun.mov

My first impressions of the Cryptkeeper are nothing but spectacular, a 69.5 degree head angle, 22.25" top tube, 15.25" chainstays and a 25mm BB drop make for a frame that is confidence inspiring, extremely easy to manual, and begs to go big and fast on the jumps.
I was mildly nervous about jumping on a hardtail after not riding one for over a year, but the Cryptkeeper's geometry is very inviting, and i had no problems adjusting to riding it and the jumps.

The Cryptkeeper handles the low speed rollers and tight lines with ease as well.

This is a frame that begs to be whipped around, and it seems the more relaxed you ride it the better it feels.
An all day sesh with a new bike on some freshly buffed jumps, it doesn't get much better than that...

HUGE thanks going out to Eric and Sadie at Deity Components for their continued support, look for a more detailed feature soon.

Freaky Friday: A French Masterpiece....

It says a lot for a movie to be ranked in our top 5 all time favorite horror films and Alexandre Aja's brilliant "High Tension" fits the bill.  Some people hate it and others proclaim it to be one of the best horror films in decades. Either way, if you like the genre...you better watch it!
