Keep Out: The deity Pumptrack Evolves

The private deity compound is massive and with over an acre for trails, we have been working on each section at a time since we relocated. After 3 revisions, the pumptrack is about to be finished with the addition of our new 10 foot wide x 5 foot tall quarter that will be located at the dead end of a straight section of 2.5 to 3 foot tall jumpable rollers.

Measuring in at 400+ feet long by 100+ feet wide and littered with jumpable lines, huge rollers, s-berms, and more...it is fast, really fast. Just to give you some perspective, the bench we built is close to the size of a picnic table and can sit 8 people on it. More updates to come when we lay the final sheets on the quarter tonight and bring in the Bobcat for the dirt jumps...

Freaky Friday: Not Too Funny To Be Honest

Most remakes are horrible, but not when a director remakes his own film and delivers something quite tasty. "Funny Games" is a thing of beauty. Sure, it has it's issues, but we will take that just to relive the experience of watching the screening for this film and being hit by that intro. Brilliant. Just a note though...this movie is not a family film...

An Update From Dustin Gilding....

Things are going pretty good for me right now as I’ve moved up to Whistler for the summer, live in an awesome house with a bunch of buddies and am surrounded by some of the best riding BC has to offer.

With this past weekend being the annual opening of the Bike Park in Whistler and the second snowiest on record, John Rempel, Bryce Piwek, Brad Holmes and I decided to switch things up and escape to Pemberton for a shoot in some of the best conditions we could possibly ask for. The trail we did the majority of shooting on was quite possibly my favourite ever and I’d like to thank the guys who build and maintain these trails for all of their hard work.

Thanks a bunch to Deity and Transition for the support, things are starting to ramp up for the season so stay tuned! (pic. Brad Holmes)

The Latest Decline Magazine Ad....

Check out the latest deity ad for Decline Magazine that features a clean image spotlighting the deity Streetsweeper frames. The goal was to not make a busy ad, keep things simple, and let people know we are now in the high end frame game.

Make sure to pick up the July issue of Decline at your better bookstores in about a week and a half. Hhhmmm...sounds like it will hit right when our frames officialy become available to the masses.

Freaky Friday: Do You Have the Crazy...?

One of our top ten favorite horror films of the last decade and one that is bound to become a cult classic. Brilliant, beautiful, savage, funny, and amazingly well composed, "The Signal" is something you and your girl can snuggle to during the late hours, but do not fret...we will be bringing you some carnage for next week.

Justin Wyper- The deity Spring Edit....

Shortly after Sea Otter and in the midst of mud and breaking Spring weather, deity pro Justin Wyper and the brilliance of Nic Genovese collaborated for some quality trail footage. Riding on board deity Vendetta 3.0 cranks, Embassy External BB kits, Termite sprockets, and Decoy 2.5 pedals, Justin has become one of the latest additions to the growing roster of deity riders.

Enjoy the edit...

Preview: The deity Crown Valve Caps...

Little bits of anodized color to replace your plastic American schrader valve caps without costing more than some companies sticker packs...the upcoming deity Crown Valve Caps are machined from 6061 aluminum, come in anodized black, red, purple, or green, and will be retailing for $6 a pair. These featherweight jewels would not even create a reading on our factory scale and are brilliantly detailed for being such a small part. Compatible with schrader valve tubes, we will not be surprised to see these on people's vehicles, bikes, and more...we know they are on our wheelbarrow already. The deity Crown Valve Caps are slated to be available at the end of June, so save your spare change, dig around your sofa, skip the burger for lunch, and get a bit of ano aluminum for a bargain...

A Worthy Edit of the Incredible Josh Stead

Transworld recently uploaded a web edit of Josh Stead that was filmed throughout his last stay in the USA. Amazing style...watching Josh ride is definitely inspirational. Maybe that is why he is one of the few people on board our Cryptkeeper!

Like A Pilgrim...Baxter Does the States

At Sea Otter, we finally met the infamous Baxter from Redfern Media. With a taste for ink, whiskey, black, small pups, bikes, and the macabre...Baxter was part of us before we even met. He has been traveling cross country in his motor home with his mate Penny by his side, so check out his site, read up on his travels, and when you see him next time...buy him a shot of the Old number 7!

Dustin Gilding 8th at the UDUG Jam....

Jamie Goldman's UDUG jam went down last weekend at Jamie's place in Bend and from the sound of it...people were loving the format, vibe, and atmosphere of the event. Nothing beats a rider run jam on a proper set of built trails with solid people in attendance.

Props to Dustin Gilding who was 8th in his pro comp debut...all with a sprained ankle to throw into the mix. Here is a pic from Justin Olsen that was up on Pink Bike...
