The deity Fresh Blood Program...
Not only do we have a deep roster of talent on our pro crew, but even our Fresh Blood Grassroots program is full of riders with limitless talent on a bike. Some of our riders who originally started on our Fresh Blood Program have since moved up to our Pro team. From Richie Rude, Logan Peat, Justin Wyper, and more...the program has always served as an excellent launching pad for riders who continually progress and are actively involved with the company.
Check out the latest web edit from Brayden Barrett/Hay for proof that our Fresh Blood program is not your "average" grassroots crew and keep an eye out for Brayden in 2011! (pic by Steve Hayes)

Cameron Zink on Evil Bikes for 2011!
It is about time...we have been waiting to spread the word about this for over a month and are incredibly excited about the direction Cam is going in for 2011! Picked up by Evil Bikes, Contour, Monster Energy, and more, the 2011 season will finally see Cam backed by the support he deserves. Of course, we are still part of his program for the 5th year in a row with Cam running our full range of handlebars, stems, pedals, and seatpost clamps. Supporting someone like Cam has always been an honor for us and we are proud of what he has accomplished in the midst of so much adversity. Congrats Cam!

Meet the Voice Over the Telephone...
Many of you already know that we are a true rider owned, operated, and funded company...but many of you may not have a clue who we are or if you call us up, who the person on the other line is. Did you know that if you speak to us over the phone or e-mail...you are interacting directly with one of the two owners? It may come to a surprise to some, but to us, this one on one communication with our customers is a critical aspect of what keeps us inspired, motivated, and reminded why we run a business. Regardless, if you have called us, placed an order, etc...you have undoubtedly spoken to Sadie or she has personally packed and shipped your order with love. A critical part of deity, Sadie is the person who runs back and forth day in and day out, pushing orders out hour after hour, e-mailing you tracking information, making sure the chaos of the day does not fall apart, and much more. At the jump, read a quick interview with Sadie and get a glimpse at the person you have all spoke to...

Sneak Peek: The deity Spanish Armada BB
It is no secret that the anticipated deity Cryptkeeper and Streetsweeper frames utilize a Spanish bottom bracket...and for good reason. Not only is a Spanish BB system far more durable than a Euro, it is also lighter than both Euro and MID BB systems. One of the many things that make our discipline specific frames unique is the fact that they use a modified Spanish Bottom Bracket. Instead of the BB shell being 68mm wide...it is 73mm wide to allow for added tire clearance and coupled with our unique stay brace design, the ability to slam the back end tight.
The upcoming deity Spanish Armada BB kit is tailored specifically for our frames, works with any 73mm wide Spanish BB shell, and will be available in polished black, red, apple green, and purple anodized finishes with laser logos. Fully machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and featuring heat treated Spanish Bearings, extensive machining to remove every excess gram possible, the deity Armada BB is an essential tool in the building of your upcoming deity Cryptkeeper or Streetsweeper build. You can expect to read more details when they become available late March.
Do not fret though...if you prefer not to run the Armada BB Kit in one of our frames, there are multiple 73mm wide Spanish BB kits on the market and you can even use any standard 68mm wide Spanish BB kit. Even though many other Spanish BB Kits are designed for a 68mm shell...they all come with additional spacers, so all that you need to do is add a 5mm spacer between the bearings during installation and your set up will be complete. It is incredibly simple and allows you to use any Spanish BB from any manufacturer.
Nevertheless, if you want your bike to be sexy...we would recommend sticking with the Armada. Stay posted to the deity Mania Blog and our Facebook page for future product images as there are a lot of new projects in the works right now with deity!
Some Know-How at the Trails....
The crew at Trail Pirate are constantly coming out with "How To" vids about trail maintenance, etiquette, and building techniques. Naturally, the best way to learn the proper methods is by trial and error, diving in head first, and learning from what works and what does not. But, there are some basic principles that if followed will reduce the headaches. The latest vid is a how to on Berms and may give trail building beginners an insight into the basic process...check it out and visit their site at www.trailpirate.com.

The Contour HD is in Our Hands....
We arrived to a care package from Jason at Contour that blew us away and from the quality of the gear, we are incredibly impressed. With two Contour HD cameras, Vented Helmet Mount, XL Handlebar Mounts, Profile Mounts, and even a Universal Mount Adapter...we cannot wait to put them to use at the deity Compound. You can expect multiple edits of our trails, pumptrack, and more this Spring. As winter arrived, we had just brought in over 200 yards of prime packable dirt that is just sitting and waiting to be sculpted and loved, so this new gear will definitely be put to use.
As we get familiar with the Contour camera and gear, we will post up some information, reviews, etc. for all of you so, until then...thanks to Jason at Contour and if you are looking for a compact, reliable, and proven camera, pick up a Contour HD!

A New Years Celebration with the Dolls!
We just got back from a trip to San Francisco where we had the opportunity to watch the Dresden Dolls perform an incredible show on New Years at the Warfield. If you know us, then you know how much we absolutely love The Dresden Dolls, so whether they were in NYC or Mexico...we would have found our way to watch them! Hours of energy, tremendous showmanship, a great crowd, amazing venue, and probably the best show the Dolls could have played...we are extremely grateful that they came to the West Coast, took the time to meet people after the show, and we say it time and time again...watching Brian Viglione play the drums is insane. Thank to everyone we met there and this was definitely a New Years we will not forget!
Cameron Zink On Board with Osiris!
