The Rays MTB Milwaukee Grand Opening...

If you have ever been to Ray's, you probably know that we are one of the ramp sponsors and also one of the select product lines they carry at both locations. We have been honored to be involved with Ray since the beginning and it is great to see his hard work expand with the arrival of Trek. The grand opening of their new location just went down and here is a recap from Eric Schutt from Ray's MTB...

"This past weekend, Rays MTB celebrated our arrival to Milwaukee with an awesome Grand Opening celebration.  RaysMTB opened the doors with a 'soft opening' on New Years Eve, and we've enjoyed a fun and successful last month, but hosting the kickoff of our Milwaukee location was a total blast!

Park riders were treated to a complimentary BBQ lunch on Saturday afternoon.  As if free brats and burgers weren't enough, it was served up by some of the best riders in the world!  The celebrity athlete list covered many rider segments...Jeff Lenosky, Ross Schnell, Aaron Gwinn, Stu Tompsen, Heather Irmiger, Kirt Voreis and Cam Zink were all on hand.  Saturday afternoon, Rays MTB gave away piles of killer product in a raffle.  The crowd roared to all the gear that was awarded.

Representatives were on hand from companies like Troy Lee Design, IMBA, RedBull, Mirraco, Dainese, Hayes, SR Suntour, WORS and Madison BMX.  Park patrons were able to speak with company representatives face to face, and learn about new products and projects.  RedBull had their sampling team in effect the entire weekend, handing out complimentary RedBull to everyone interested.

Sunday afternoon, gears shifted into 'BMX Night', as the RedBull DJ setup to spin live above the Subaru Street park.  Cam Zink help inspire riders by offering up free Troy Lee Design swag to anyone throwing bold moves.

All in all, RaysMTB entire staff would like to thank everyone involved with our parks for our success.  Look forward to stories in Mountain Bike Action, Decline, DirtRag, Pinkbike, MTBr, and VitalMTB."
