The New Yorker just published a profile on acclaimed director, Guillermo del Toro, that is quite a lengthy read...but worth it. The director of some of our favorite films such as "The Devil's Backbone", "Pan's Labyrinth", and "Cronos", Guillermo's passion for his genres is undeniable, admirable, and is reflected in the critical embrace he seems to receive from most of his films. Sure, we cannot stand "Hellboy" and some of his other work, but if all we ever get is the 3 films we listed above...we would be content. Hit up the New Yorker and read up on a master of film making.
