We receive countless calls and inquiries about the upcoming deity Cryptkeeper and Streetsweeper frames on a daily basis. Over the past two years, we have been working on developing two discipline specific frames that unlike the competition...are designed for the style of riding in mind. There will not be a do-it-all bike that does-nothing-well as both frames are purpose built, detailed, with spot on geo, and a manufacturing process that will make it the last frame you need to own.
With the deity Cryptkeeper (Dirt Jump Specific) and the deity Streetsweeper (Street/Park Specific) frames in production and slated to be available in early 2011, we have uploaded some brief sneak peek tech info for you guys to go through. We do not want to reveal everything yet as that is just not our style. Hit up our site for some brief info and just wait until they are officially released as we will have dozens of pages of content up on them covering the design process, features, and even the amazing packaging you guys will receive the frames in. It will be the first frame box you keep.
Remember, these are not your average frames that boast that they use "heat treated tubing". Both frames are a high end design featuring a 100% Post Weld Heat Treatment process that puts them at another level. At the moment, there are only a few frames featuring this treatment process as it is expensive, complicated when done to frames with longer tubing, and is the first way companies short cut the design process and get you guys a cheap price, regardless of final strength.
Do not fret, we plan for retail pricing to be at $479 and we will make it worth every penny saved. Check out the sneak peek and stay tuned to the blog as we will release images as we get closer to their release date. It is time...deity Bike Co. is finally underway.
Everyday around here feels like Halloween, but nothing is better than this time of year, season, and trail conditions. We cannot thank all of you enough for the continued support this past year. Long time deity ambassador, Emily Johnston, will be part of the upcoming Seasonaires series that will spotlight the lives and riding of a handful of select riders. There are some significant changes and additions to the deity roster going down right now. With us expanding into our long awaited frames, we are incredibly excited about the direction the team is going and without a doubt, we will have the most legit crew in the big wheel game...trust us! Rumor has it that 20" phenom, Josh Stead, will be on a fully built deity Cryptkeeper proto after riding Zach's bike and immediately stomping a double flip on it (and loving the bike). Rumor also has it that he will be at AT's Showdown and may just be the next full fledged deity pro...hhhmmmm. Do not fret, we will keep you guys updated and until then, check out a quick edit from Josh that went down at Cory Nastazio's trails.
We recently picked up BC trailboss, Dustin Gilding, to be part of our pro deity roster! Having him part of a team built around riders who actually dig, shape, maintain, and sweat for their trails is a perfect fit...let alone the fact that Dustin has more style on a bike than most people! Stomping the 360 that was watched across the world, deity's Cameron Zink concluded a phenomenal 2010 season by dominating Crankworx Slopestyle and now...Red Bull Rampage. With the amount of adversity Cam has gone through in the past 3 years and not even having financial support from a title frame sponsor this year, he stayed focused, evolved his skill every day, and showed everyone that fear is not in his vocabulary.
Now, the first FMB World Tour Champion, we are happy to know that good things will be coming his way in 2011. He deserves it and since the day we met Cam many years ago, we knew he would be a leader in this sport.
An additional congrats goes out to part of the deity family, Kyle Strait, who was 8th at Rampage. With only racing this year, injuring himself, and then coming out with massive stylish lines...Kyle is such an impressive rider and even better person off the bike! After an exciting Gravity East Series season, All Ride/deity pro Richie Rude has landed 5th in the overall standing after last weeks GES finals. To say that he has had an amazing rookie pro year...is an understatement.
