An Up Close Tour of Zach's Trails....

Spomer from VitalMTB recently went to Nor Cal to meet up with deity's Zach Hensley and his crew for a shoot at their private trails. A lot of content was shot and even though Zach was injured from the start, he drank a 12 pack and threw down some of the biggest lines for Spomer and his lens. Check out the first quick edit!

Endless Sessions at Zach's Infamous Trails!

We are so happy to see deity's Zach Hensley being able to have his own spot in his own backyard and away from the inevitable torture of a city tearing down his hard work. He has been riding more than ever, is being contracted for some future top secret massive builds, and we could not have anybody better to test out the upcoming deity Cryptkeeper frame!

Check out the pics and keep an eye out for future vid edits of Zach, his crew, and the deity Cryptkeeper!

The Decline Photoshoot with Ian Hylands!

We were recently contacted by Decline Magazine who wants to do a feature on deity, our art, inspiration, our new product direction, and what we are all about. It was a simple choice for us to select the master of the camera, Ian Hylands, to capture our vision.

With only 3 days to shoot, we caught some amazing images that capture not only our style, but are the opposite of what you come to expect in a magazine. Late nights, many Jack and Cokes, and some brainstorming led to something we are proud of.

Huge thanks to Ian for being a part of it and we cannot wait for you guys to see what we were able to pull off!

The liquid that kept us fueled for the shoots.

The tools of a master photographer.

Happy Birthday to Bela Lugosi Jr.!

A year ago we found a small dog abandoned at the end of our road that leads into the deity compound. He had 3 broken ribs, was starving, abused, struggled to walk, and was bound to die in a couple of days.

When we walked down the road, all that we were able to see was a small black head poking out of the shadows and to say we were in awe of this little guy, is an understatement.  Anyone who knows us, knows we like dogs a hell of a lot more than humans and after planning on saving a dog in a few months after relocating to Idaho, we were resistant to a small breed and had our eye on a pit mix.

Bela Lugosi Jr. changed that immediately.

An essential part of deity and our lives, today is the one year anniversary (we call it his Birthday) of him being saved and our lives being enriched with his personality. We know there are amazing dogs out there, but to us, there is nobody that compares to Bela.

An Update from Phenom Cierra Smith!

Cierra Smith has been having a phenomenal season and continues to dominate at almost every race. Her enthusiasm, infectious personality, and impressive skill has been turning heads and we are incredibly honored to have Cierra riding on board deity components. Here is an update straight from her...
"I'm sorry for the update being so late. It has truly been a crazy and exciting month.

Let's start with nationals. It was a pretty technical course with the addition of two huge doubles. I was really nervous because, I got only one day of practice, but my race run went awesome with the exception of one crash. I passed the girl in front of me and finished in first place 23 seconds ahead. I couldn't be any happier.

After nationals I was home for one day before I went to Oregon to stay with Kirt and Lindsey Voreis for 3 weeks. We did some awesome riding In Oregon before heading to Whistler for a week so Kirt could coach the SGC camps. Then Crankworx came and It was so much fun. I raced the Air-dh and won by 6 seconds. It was a great race and really fun. I think A-line is one of the best trails up there, and I had a hard time coming home after being there for so long.

Thank you guys so much!! I love Deity components!"

Richie Rude 5th at the Canada Cup!

We have been spending the past week on a photoshoot for an upcoming deity feature in Decline Magazine, so our apologies for the lack of updates for the past 4 days!

We just got word from the Rude camp and here is an update from Rich Rude Sr....

"Well some really good news - Richie went to the back and neck specialist last Wednesday when he got home and got checked out.

Turned out he does not have any compression fractures at all...the Doctor in Canada was probably just being very cautious which we are happy about.

So he was cleared to ride! We went to Bromont this weekend and Richie and I raced the Canada Cup. Richie had a great run and ended up on the podium in 5th spot!

He was in the hot seat for about a Hour..."

Amazing job Richie!

Cam Zink Wins Crankworx Slopestyle!

What can be said about Cameron Zink...for the past years he has been battling injury, walked into this season without a title frame sponsor, and healthier than he has ever been...he is now once again the winner of Crankwork Whistler Slopestyle. Amazing!  We cannot be more proud of him!

Adam Hauck Out of Surgery and Healing...

Recently, deity's Adam Hauck had surgery on his wrist after finding 3 broken bones and is now on the mend. Here is the update directly from Adam...

"After having an awesome summer I found out some bad news. I've had wrist pain throughout the entire summer. So, after Highland Claymore I decided to go to the doctor. I went to the Doctor expecting nothing and then a few x rays later they told me my wrist was broken in 3 places. So to the next doctor. After that a catscan and back they decided that I was going to need surgery.

So I got surgery and now I'm healing up and should be riding in 2 months. But things are going fine I'm in no pain and I've been working out a bunch to be ready just to jump back in to things."

Heal up Adam!

Logan Peat Tib/Fib Surgery Update....

It seems like a lot of riders are getting broken up lately...from Cam McCaul, Kyle Strait, Adam Hauck, and more, the list keeps growing. One of the worst injuries this year though was suffered by deity's Logan Peat who snapped his tib/fib at Crankworx Colorado straight through his jeans. To say Logan can take pain is an understatement as he managed to even call us on the long drive to the hospital in Denver to update us.

Fortunately, Logan is now home in Ontario after multiple surgeries and is expecting to get the stitches removed this Friday. Crazy. From what it sounds like, he is healing up quicker than expected and we are just glad to see him almost on his feet again! Heal up Logan.

These Shoes Were Made for Riding....

If you have been around us in the past 3 years...then you have seen us wear the same style shoes time and time again. Why? Because when we find something that works and works well, we tend to pick up a few of them before they disappear. This is true of Zoo York jeans, some shirts, and of course, Vans Shoes!

A cinematic classic and one of the most influential horror films of all time, "Night of the Living Dead" is a critically embraced cult classic that was quite controversial in the late 60s due to its political undertones and gritty direction.
